I think John McCrea is a very great person, attempting to made good based on the privledges he's attained through music. That being said, comparing sandwiches (food) and rent (shelter) to music is more than a little ridiculous. For whatever reason musicians and aspiring musicians have stumbled upon the idea that if they put in the work they DESERVE to be paid for their services. But let's look at the history of music - it's certainly not something people have been making a living off of for long. So who is John McCrea to suggest music shouldn't be free? As a musician myself I beleive it's an incredible LUXORY that I can make a dime from something like music. It's not my right or something I deserve. Let's not compare apples to bicycles.

John's interveiws are so great, I do agree that he has such a way with words. To me John seems to have this grip on life as like, an ultimate reality, and the way he explains his thoughts in such a mature way is just remarkable. To me, the man has alot of wisdom. Simply said; he is like noone else I know, or probably will know.
