Yum Yum House Becomes Burgermeister

The Yum Diary got the scoop from some workmen fixing up the now-empty space:

“What’s going to move in here?” I shouted. (They were really pretty far back there.)

“The Burger Mister!” the elder fellow shouted back.

“The Burger Mister?”

“Yes, the Burger Mister!” he asserted.

[pause, thinking]

“Oh, you mean Burgermeister?” I asked.

“Yes! Yes! The Burgermeister!”

Link. But this still doesn’t answer the more pressing question.

Update: ERRONEOUS!! Thanks, Tracie! Sorry, everybody.

This makes me very sad. Yum Yum HOUSE had so many delicious mock-chicken dishes, and they cost exactly as much as I wanted to pay for them. Burgermeister, like we need more gross ground-up dead cows (or whatever other “exotic” animals they offer, e.g. ostriches) served around here.

I would put the sign up on my roof, if I somehow acquired it, and turn it on during holidays.

Thanks for the mention! Funny thing — just got it confirmed that it’s NOT going to be a Burgermeister. I updated my post to reflect my convo this aft with the Burgermeister owner.

So, the sign has been gone for over a month… where’d it go?
