I was there last night to get some work done and eat dessert and we had to leave a little after 10. I know that is standard time for a restaurant, but Mission Pie serves mainly dessert. Shouldn’t they be catering to the post-dinner crowd? This is all my way of saying, I love Mission Pie and I wish it’d stay open all night so I could pull all-nighters and drinks its espresso and top everything with its incredible whipped cream. But seriously, there are always folks clamoring to get in after 10; why not stay open?

I think they make it with that Senoria (?) flower though… it’s not great for bread. Wasn’t as fluffy as I’m used to, and the crust was tough, not crumbly like a real baguette.

Then again, maybe I’m posh.
