the emotionless crowd at the show and fixie bikes are what make it great. what is the advantage to a fixie over any other geared bike in the City? pure trend unless you’re a bike messenger, which you’re probably not. thats the essence of the hipster: rigidly conformist non-conformity.

what if the trend was Segway scooters- would you get one of those goofy mfers?

agreed 1000% with “ugh”, that word shouldnt be said until theres actual hard evidence of what it actually means these days.

Considering the words been around since the 1940′s, it really shows off the lack of imaginations in people who just want to hate. Why not call it VICEMAGMAN instead?

Not sure I see the makeover. Only thing unhip about bro at the beginning of video is he’s wearing dad sneakers and I guess he’s tucking his shirt in. Chick is classic Mission Dolores hipster throughout the video.

Couldn’t sit through all the video, but if we’re doing Dolores Park and fixed gears and so on shouldn’t at some point someone have given them some blow as well? (If they did end up blowing rails then apologies to My First Earthquake.)

oh, come on! perfect example of two hipsters being ultra hipsters by pretending that they arent hipsters. only thing more hipster than being a hipster is saying youre not a hipster. plus in the opening scene, wearing oversized glasses playing a keyboard on the street, i assumed they were the hipsters.
