Mission Flashback: Lego Art Car on Capp St.

This art car was found all over the Bay Area in 2005/2006,* including the best street in the entire Mission District, but is merely now a rarely viewed set of Flickr images.  Does anyone know whatever happened to this Lego art car?

* maybe earlier?  Flickr did not exist prior to then.  Mega tears.

Excuse me, but those are Duplos – Lego’s younger, chunkier, and more retarded little sibling.

Its probably still on the road. CA records shows that it passed its last smog test in May of last year, over in union city.

I’ve not seen it lately, but I know I saw it as recently as 2007, maybe even 2008. I need to check my own photographic evidence.

Don’t forget the Shell Car, ZebraMobile and my new favorite, the Snakeskin Car (albeit non-Mission). They should have a race. (I can only imagine the gas mileage hit the 400 pounds of shells makes on that Civic.)

I do think someone needs to make a car covered with American Apparel clothing and park it on Valencia.
