Oh come on. It’s not so bad – If you walk in it’s not like they can ignore your phone call. It’s like, hello, I’m standing right here, watching you watching the phone ring…

Why, the other Sunday when I was there I only had to wade through, like, two packs of Spirits and maybe 3 or 4 hundred bros before I got my sando. It wasn’t easy looking really cool for that long without a craft-brew inhand, but by the time I was done Benders was totally open for business.

Give the place a chance…I gave Ike’s a couple tries…the food was not bad at all, but it’s blown up way beyond warrant….lines like that are ridiculous.

East-coast, shmeast-coast — there’s more decent delis in Los Angeles than San Francisco has seen in generations. Just tell me I can get a corned beef on fresh rye with sauerkraut, a block away from my apartment, and I’ll be a happy fella.

And it should be wrapped in paper, not plastic.
