This is what (I determined would be) my last New years eve party was like:
Two guests showed up and instantly slipped across the way into my neighbor’s apartment (without her permission) to get it on, sloppily. My neighbor is a respectable lady who thought she was offering a coat drop. They did it all over everyone’s coats.
Of the 12 Limoge porcelain plates I snagged super-cheap when I Magnin went under, only 4 survived.
A friend kept following me down the hall saying very, very loudly “wow, what a mess, I bet you just wish everyone would LEAVE.” Which resulted in only the polite, sober interesting people leaving with hurt expressions on their faces.
Someone I had recently tricked with showed up unexpectedly on the arm of a disease-ridden mega whore with no taste.
