like someone said above already, single bikers ride in the lane with cars all the time. because it’s safer and crowding in on the parked cars when you ride means you might get a door opened on you. no biker would ever complain about single bikes riding in the road, so why complain about this? same story, different cover.

Google has a few of these and their employees use them to pedal around to meetings and such. But here’s the deal: they’re too big to fit in the bike lane, and they move really fuckin slowly.

It’s a huge nuisance to all motor vehicles.

um, single bikes take up whole lanes sometimes too when they don’t want to hug the side of the road for fear of getting clocked by an opening car door.

hrm. i thought we were supposed to be for alternative modes of transportation. seems that because there’s something unfamiliar going on here it’s being hated on. looks like an interesting way from point A to B. Not for your every day, but just for some fun. The idea of pedaling and moving in a direction other than the normal straight ahead could be a nice change of perspective for once.

Can’t believe they took up a whole lane! I saw them on Guerrero and 18th, which is kind of a diff story b/c at least there are 2 lanes on Guerrero, but on Valencia?? Really?!?
