It’s pretty obvious. There's no equal treatment in this place I guess. Why would they allow such company to post such pro-smoking ads like that?

Well, I had a heart attack a few years ago (at much too early an age, in my opinion), as a direct result of smoking unfiltered, hand-rolled cigarettes -- and quite nice they were, too -- and I would like to say that I APPROVE of the death-wish (okay, shortened-life-span-wish) of anyone who wants to continue enjoying the ephemeral pleasures of the tobacco habit.

By all means, please continue your efforts to exterminate yourself. Since you are NOT, and never have been, confused with Humphrey Bogart, or anyone similar, you will be as forgotten as my grandfather, or my uncle, or... most likely, myself. Good riddance, I say. The world needs fewer advertisements for the pleasures of smoking, and more abject lessons about the effect on human lungs caused by various sorts of inhaled burning herbs.

For my part, I will wait until I am sure I am near death, then take up the habit again. What the fuck?! The one time to make a decision based only on what feels good is when the only thing you have left to you is what feels good.

Wait, so a non-profit that support right-to-die legislation (Final Exit Network) pays to put an add on a billboard, and BLF "improves" it with a "message" about how bad Phillip Morris is?

I'm ambivalent about doing something like this to satirize a company if that company is the one that bought the space (the AT&T and McDonalds ones were entertaining), but this is basically stealing from a non-profit (granted, a controversial one) to make a very simplistic point about another organization.

Am I missing something, or is this self-righteousness run amuck?
