You either pre-mix the gas and oil or the oil is injected into the carb from a separate tank(Yamaha RD’s). Either way oil is being burned in the cylinder resulting in that mist of blue smoke two-strokes emit. I haven’t heard of two-strokes running off anything other than gasoline. Please fill me in on two-stroke mopeds running alternate fuels.
Matt, the motors are loud because everybody swaps the stock pipes for chambers. This allows for a boost in horsepower but makes them sound like an extremely loud mosquito.

People keep blowing Cig smoke in my face so I’m gonna keep riding my recycled vehicle from 35 yrs ago. Never buy new.

It sucks that those bikes are so poorly tuned and spewing so much smoke. It really burns very clean when running properly.
100+ MPG
and running on bean oil whenever possible. No worse than cooking it.
