This is very helpful to know the full story. In spite of the understandable jerking-away, you still caught the fact that the driver basically mowed down a crowd of people.

Not sure, but I think it might be one of the car’s tires popping–when the crowd left all of the tires had either popped, been slashed, or were flattened by broken glass.
