I’ve thought for some time that the old ferry there would be a perfect spot for a coffee shop. So much space, and it HAS the coffee shop/lunch counter area from when it was a ferry, etc. Just put in some new equipment, plumb it up, stick in some wi-fi and you have a work-from-home spot with the best view in the city.

I walk down there all the time from my place on Larkin, sweet view of the city and both bridges. It is a little dirty but thats keeps all the tourists away.

They were pretty cool. It costs $5 to go aboard the boats but that’s a pretty good deal ($5 for all of them).
