This Freeman’s that’s opening on Valencia will actually be 75% “men’s barber shop” and 25″ “men’s clothing store”.
I’m guessing the facade will look more like the back end of their original NYC spot, a 60′s men’s barber shop with straight razor shaves.

The Freemans in NY is pretty dope. I believe they have a barbershop in the back. Everything is crazy expensive but we always go when we are in the neighborhood to gawk at the clothes and Americana knick knacks. It will fit in well with Paxtons gate, Curiosity Shop, Pirate store, i.e. cool places you go in and never buy stuff.

Last I checked, there were dozens of vacant store fronts on Valencia street. I’ll bet chain store opponents are the same people who flock to Petsco for kibble and Netflix for their movies. They ought to be more careful what they wish for.

The clothes are expensive, but seem very well-made. Definitely out of my price range, but I always saw them as something to look at while waiting for a table at the restaurant. And while we’re on that topic, why doesn’t Freeman’s open another restaurant on Valencia Street as long as they’re moving west?
