The problem is that corner, the only intersection on Mission between 16th & 24th without a bus stop. Anyone who gets off a bus and wants to pick something up on the way home will find a different market before this one. The other problem is Duc Loi, the new default local market for a lot of people in the area; they’re good enough to make a special trip to, even if you have to walk a couple three blocks.

It was very uninviting, borderline scary.
