I love Lost Weekend, and prefer renting from them, but I almost always end up with a late fee. They’re usually good about not charging the whole thing, but it still ends up more costly and more of a pain in the ass than Netflix.

And the “attitude” all depends on who you get. Some of them are great. Some are total dicks.
