Parked cars do nothing to enhance the shops along the corridor. It’s much better for businesses to have gathering spaces in front that attract potential customers. How many more bike parking spaces can fit in the same spot as two cars?

If you are suggesting that the two cars would generate more foot traffic, attract more people to hang out and send more money than the people would then.

I’m all ears, but I’ve never seen a car go shopping. Firstly, they are inanimate objects and secondly they wouldn’t fit through the doors of most stores.
