Yesterday on the 3 a lady was methodically picking out lice from her daughter’s hair with her fingernails and throwing them on the floor! I have seen a lot of horrible things on MUNI in the past ten years, but that was probably the most unsettling.

Actually, Allan, I was on AC Transit when I wrote that. And the lady was talking super loudly on speakerphone as well.

I was at the financial aide office for Healthy San Francisco 2 weeks ago and there was a lady plucking out her armpit hair with tweezers…for like five minutes.

when i first moved to SF, i was taking the MUNI up on 3rd street (i think). it was a pretty crowded bus. i noticed a particularly whiny and fidgety toddler with his grandparents. before you could say “a river runs through it”, they whip out a plastic shopping bag, pull down his pants, and make him piss in it. of course the bag starts leaking and a little stream of urine makes its way down the aisle. i was completely disgusted.

Better than the toenail clipping I see on bart all the time. Both of which are better than the time I saw a lady with a hole in her head removing her nail polish on bart. Honestly, she had a hole in her scalp and I could see her skull. That was probably what did it more than the nail polish removal.
