I mean, face it, pigeons, as a species, are not in any danger of disappearing and never will be. If you are willing to trap an individual specimen, you can always get someone who knows his or her business to kill it nicely. What you cannot get is someone who will care for that feral pigeon as if it was a human child.

It would be nice to know if there were someplace you could bring them to at least be put down humanely… I’ve seen more than one injured pigeon and never know what to do.
