Fuck the haters, I loved this shit hole! that was the point, it was a great shit hole with decent enough food (I never got sick so it’s ok in my book) and strong ass margaritas (probably killed any food borne illnesses on the spot). Also contrary to “Crowder” it looks like they’re doing more than putting a proverbial coat of paint on the walls.

I AM SO EXCITED! this was my absolute favourite place to go when i lived here for an internship. i was so bummed that it was closed when i moved back to live here for good. every time i walk by with friends i tell them how this is the best time in the mission if it would just reopen.. musicians, dancing & strawberry margaritas… i had almost given up!
best luck to you, la rondalla! please keep the decorations, deer heads(?), and christmas lights.

I always loved this place…margaritas and carne asada were perfect when I didn’t want to wait in line at Puerto Allegre. Dinner doesn’t always need to be a life-changing blogworthy experience. Foodies are a spoiled lot.

Exactly why do we need more restaurants like this on Valencia? Just because its a family restaurant doesn’t immediately make it worthwhile. The food wasn’t even in the top 75% of Mexican joints in the Mission. I have no ill will towards the family, but standard, sub-par food is not exactly something Valencia “needs”.

Despite all of the above reasons, I kind of loved that place. And the service was always excellent when I ate there.
