Avalos rolled up like the Mission’s conquering hero in a low rider convoy and came out to dance along with several lucha libres in Avalos gear. Check the photos here:

But the high point was when Occupy SF marched into the park and a cheer went up from the jaded cool kids and maybe of them came pouring down Hipster Hill to join in. Good times.

Amazingly the cops/rangers never showed up to shut it down. Props to the League of Pissed Off Voters for getting the sound system together and making it happen.
