Growing up in Cincinnati and having been to BOTH superbowls I will never, ever, ever like the Niners. I’m happy for the city but the only way I’ll ever root for them in the superbowl is if they are playing against the Patriots. I hate the Patriots most of all.

If you are a true football/sports fan and already support a team the answer is NEVER!

If you didn’t really have a team before, then I would say it takes 2-3 years of really following a team before you could be considered a real fan (i.e. not a bandwagon jumper).
