Melted Toys sound like The Cure only less intense. A little like elevator music though. Sometimes being too mellow isn’t a good thing.

Also I live 3 blocks from Cafe Du Nord, and my roomie once lived with a woman who would volunteer at The Sweedish Hall , when it was for actual Swedes.
