I’ve never once been insulted by a panhandler, nor have I ever been panhandled “aggressively,” whatever that’s supposed to mean. When I hear people say they’re always have run-ins with homeless people, I can’t help but think they’re somehow instigating shit themselves.

BEING HOMELESS SUCKS MORE THAN YOU CAN POSSIBLY IMAGINE. Just think how aggressive and rude yuppie biker dude would be if he were unfortunate enough to live on the streets himself, and actually had something real to be upset about! Be thankful you’re not living on the street y’all. And take a moment to consider just how cranky you might be if you did. Yuppie biker dude is an embarrassment to himself.

I’ve been asked for money and when I’ve refused, I’ve been called a whore. I’ve seen some homeless guys spit on people. Even Omer has let a racial slur slide out.

I know I’m not in the same position as the homeless but I’ve been in the working poor. To be asked for money constantly and be berated when I don’t give is maddening. I don’t blame this guy for going off. Most of you holier-than-thou would too, given a certain degree of harassment.
