Sure, it’s just a film. I get that.
Sure, it’s all fake. I get that too.

But why don’t student film makers get FAR more creative and show something with a little humanity and good vibes, rather than violence (fake) and more guns (fake). I see ZERO talent in that violent little scene.

Oh, by the way, quick tip: I learned the hard way if you’re shooting a movie and are going to include visual violence out in the open, give the local police department a heads up, so they can handle any calls that come in from concerned neighbors. It’ll spare you a really tensely embarrassing conversation with adrenalized EMTs.
