I agree with the questionable justification of price, but with the Jack LaLanne (yet another user here) it doesn’t juice leafy greens; wheat grass, spinach, arugula and the like. You can substitute zucchini, cucumber, asparagus but its still not quite the same. Siesta and Caroline, what are your normal juice mixes out of curiosity?

I think I just figured out the difference for you: the frothy top. I never get a frothy top when I juice on my own (I also have a Jack LaLanne juicer). Frothy tops are the best!

In any case, it’s hard for me to justify spending $X on juice because that same amount would go way farther if I bought fruits & veggies and juiced them myself. Which I rarely do. A conundrum.
