Probably covering the recent police attacks on people with weed or beer in the park (no doubt giving this a favorable spin for all the NIMBYs). Of course, while the jackboots are stamping out freedom in the park, crime is soaring in the mission and lower haight. Cars with windows smashed out all over the place, home burglaries, gunshots, attacks on people (esp. near 16th and Mission). Just can’t seem to get their priorities right, can they…
