albino laser eyes.

also, they need a copy editor for their menu.

PICKELED okra? no, it's pickled. come to think of it, just make that a NO, all together. okra is just flat out slimy nasty, no amount of pickling or frying is going to help!

also - "dried sausage stick?" sounds like old crusty hobo penis.

no thanks!

Mission Pie is god awful. They overcook their pies to the point the crust is inedible. Hopefully this place won't follow the trend of burning their food.

If I want decent pie I have to either bake it myself or wait till Pie Fridays is around.

It's strange to me how so many new Mission restaurants in the past year or two are so explicit, even rigorous, about their meat-centric-ness: Hog & Rocks, Beast & Hare, Pig & Pie, Southpaw BBQ, the coming White Bread BBQ (or whatever it will be called). That's great that you feature meat - pretty much 99% of restaurants do, it's the norm - but in this neighborhood, it would seem to make sense to have at least some semblance of vegetarian availability. Of those above, only Southpaw lets two vegetarians put together a meal without repeating dishes. Looking at the Pig & Pie menu, eggplant and fries is the only possibility. At Rosamunde (if, as someone else comments, that's the relevant comparison), there are three different vegan sausages. Yes, yes, I know, I don't have to go there, but don't you want me to? I've got cash! Give me a reason to stop in!

If by "terrible" you mean "delicious," then yes.

(Incidentally why compare a pie joint to a sausage restaurant? The relevant competitor is Rosamunde.)
