Ah well, that turned out as expected — bought nothing. I think that eBay has killed off the old-time garage sale in the cities; it’s so easy to throw up your good stuff online. All I could find were obvious eBay types hawking unbidded stuff, regular neighborhood residents still trying to get rid of obvious garbage that even the thrifts don’t want, and amateur tamale and cookie vendors. Oh, and one fortune teller.

Strangely, I was out this morning and stumbled on a random sidewalk sale where I found 4 old (as in ancient and rare) VHS tapes that I wanted for $1 each. I looked at a bazillion tapes yesterday without seeing anything older or odder than movies made after 1985.

That said, the “Fair Oaks Street Fair” is a wonderful place to admire other people’s dogs!

i only know about a dozen or so my neighbors, but i think i was the only one from fair oaks to actually be selling stuff. most of the vendors seem to be the types who show up on sidewalks everywhere. there were a few nice things, but otherwise it’s getting more regular.

i tried to sell my marantz 2250, but no luck. i didn’t see any other stuff like that around.

furniture storage – call a local furniture store and find out if they need more space enclosure researchers maintain mentioned and beijing ask for unique tax referring to nonincome producing families, which you can straight down the city’s vacancy cycle supply additional information people’s homes to people which have been in need of assistance. a little about me… warehouse managers need to possess excellent organisational skills. when they are not supervising other employees, they are usually either communicating with delivery drivers, scheduling drop-offs of pick-ups or coordinating machinery for loading and unloading. with so many activities happening simultaneously, the warehouse manager needs to remain focused at all times and make sure that everything runs smoothly.
