Policeman says “I really hate giving tickets to drunk cyclists.” and then relates the following story of his evening to the barista.

Officer Fuzz had been sitting in his prowl car on Capp presumably scaring off johns and doing paperwork, when a trio of young men on bikes came laboriously up Capp street with a bit of swerve in their ride. Not feeling particularly inclined to act the officer ignored them, but was startled by a loud noise moments later.

The officer looks up and just in time to see the third cyclist plow into the back of the same parked car that his two buddies have just also hit. All three bikers are on the ground, and when the cop goes to check he discovers that they are unhurt, but abominably drunk. He feels he is obligated to give them tickets at this point. The moral of the story is that “If you run into a parked car on a bike while drunk, you’ve really earned that ticket.”
