We LOVED Urbun Burger. Good burgers, yummy fried and salads. We walked down a lot from Church and 30th with two little kids and also took friends from out of town here regularly. We thought it was even better than the so much adored Barney’s Burgers in Noe Valley. Can’t believe there will be another Mexican place. How many Burritos can you possibly eat in a lifetime? Very sad to see Urbun is gone. Does anyone know why they closed or if they are planning to re-open at a new location?

Clown Alley…inducing food comas since the 60s. It was super nice when they refurbed it into Pickles. Lame name, but I liked that short lived place.

I want the little Latin breakfast spot back. What was it called, Sunrise maybe? Two very nice women ran the joint, one up front and one in the back. If I didn’t show up for a while and the returned, they go Oh Jack we missed you, where have you been!?

Compared to most taquerias in the neighborhood, yeah. I’m loyal to Buen Sabor, myself. But the woman is more health-conscious and has a more refined palette than me (and a semi-rational fear of amoebic dysentery).
