Enumerating Hoodies

Esteemed Mission writer @brittneyg asks an extremely important question about San Francisco:

An illuminating Twitter discussion followed — more here — and thanks to @therealWBTC, we are collecting DATA – how many hoodies do you own?

Do hoodies outnumber San Franciscans? Add your zip code and we can answer that eternal question — who has more hoodies, the Mission or Outer Sunset? And how many dogs have hoodies?

  2. Ian says:

there are more hoodies than people in san francisco hands down.

  3. Hmm says:

    How are you defining “people”?

  4. Rich says:

I have 14. One day as I was killing myself at the gym on the stair climber, I mentally went through my hoodies and counted them.

  5. See? I do so know when to shut up!

I only have one and it says GAP on the front. Isn’t this the minimum requirement?

  7. Jeremy says:

Somebody should make a “Pop vs Soda” style map of the City’s hoodie density.

Zipper or pullover, function or fashion?

  9. Mr. Blackwell says:

Definitely more hoodies than people. Beyond the fact that most of the people own more than one hoodie, just think of all the unsold hoodies in the tourist zones, Gaps, Old Navys, American Apparels, Giants Dugouts…

Unsold hoodies don’t count. Hoodie strings are lame. Take ‘em all out and bask in the relaxed fit of your hoodie.
