Though everyone admits that it can be difficult to keep up with the preferred terminology and that there is often no across the board consensus.

However, the use of the word “tranny”, in this case, just seems incorrect; the cartoon illustration seems to depict neither a trans-sexual or a transvestite but, rather, an ugly fag banana-headed person with eye makeup, facial hair, lipstick, square tits, and a huge bulge in a g-string. Sorta like The Cockettes, if you remember them, or The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, if you’re younger.

Seriously… IT’S A FUCKING CARTOON, with no apparent axe to grind.
