Hi this is Bin, one of the Boba Guys.

Chamalyn was a wonderful place and the reason Boba Guys even existed in the first place. Andrew and I would go there a couple times a week to get boba.

May, the wonderful woman who ran the place, was amazing. She sold the business over a year ago and the new owner kept the same name. But as we all know, it wasn’t the same.

We hope to do May and Chamalyn justice in providing great milk tea for the Mission.

It was run by nice people, but IMHO their boba tea was just not that great I think it was fine when they were the only game in the neighborhood, but yeah, they couldn’t hold up to real competition.

It’s a little unfair to say that Chamalyn “didn’t survive”. The shop was there for more than 10 years, run by really nice people.
