I mean, how exactly do you decide to get rid of the greatest novel ever written in the history of mankind?

Someone just failed their Mentat exam.

    You read the sequels?

I assume you rescued them with the proper respect? I could give them a good home, I loaned my copies out long ago and never got them back.

Don’t know where I saw it, but there was a time, post Dune, where David Lynch was the hottest Sci Fi director out there and was going to direct either Empire Strikes Back or Return of the Jedi. I really wish this had happened.

This was pre-Dune. Lucas offered Lynch Return of the Jedi. Lynch realized he would have no artistic control over the project and declined.

shittt, that looks like my copy of the original that I recently loaned out.

“THERE WERE NO SEQUELS” <~~ haha! Yes. what part of "saga" do people not understand. (a saga that admittedly wavers in quality through its course. Still: nothing like it.)
