Can't wait for this to open. I haven't been back to the Azores since 1999, but have amazing memories of the sights and tastes there. I'll have to bring meus pais by to check it out once it opens. Much support and faith in getting this going Andrea!

Fermina,

I have a lot of Portuguese items on the menu and actually do not even have arroz dulce. I don't know where you saw that on the menu...

I do have a limited kitchen without a hood, so unfortunately I will not be cooking bifanas or bacalhau, but I am getting very creative.

I do have: pasteis de nata, bolo de arroz, Portuguese sweet rolls, linguica, many Portuguese cheeses including Queijo de Sao Jorge, presunto, olives, tremocos, especie, Portuguese olive oils, sardines, and many other items that are Portuguese influenced...

This cafe is a combination of my two home - California and Portugal. If you have any other questions or want to see something on the menu, feel free to personally email me at cafestjorge@gmail.com

I looked at the menu and only see arroz dulce as a typical Portuguese item. Calling a panini or grilled cheese sandwich a tosta mixta shouldn't really count.

Where's the bifana?
