Not that you care, but you can actually learn to sail *for free* and take boats out *for free* on the Bay through Cal Sailing. Yes, most big yachts are richy rich toys. However, if you just want to sail on the Bay, shit is free.

You can also go learn to sail dinghy’s at Treasure Island which are more fun than larger boats anyways.
