At the Bruce-Mahoney game @ Kezar a couple of weeks ago, saw a lot of kids from both St. Ignatius and Sacred Heart Cathedral wearing Niners gear.

A few things:

1. I’m in 850 all of the time. As a criminal defense attorney. What about you? The point is – it is unusual for them to back off of a situation like this so quickly where there’s clear 1983 potential.

Obviously, I know that. But facts and bullshit get conflated all the time especially in mass media. The factual details will be lost on the average casual news viewer. They will see his face, his hoodie, and the word “gang” and it will all conflate. If I were the director of that news segment, I would have cropped in on the photo so you could only read the “Niner”.
