Mellow Corn! Straight corn whiskey! Nothin’ but corn! It is VERY mellow!

    Time for a whiskey lesson. “Straight corn whiskey” does not mean it’s nothing but corn. Corn whiskey must be made with at least 80% corn, but a quick google search reveals that Mellow Corn is made with 90% corn, with rye and barley filling out the rest of the mash bill.

    “Straight” instead means that it has been aged for at least 2 years, but note that since Mellow Corn is bottled in bond, it’s been aged for at least 4.
