According to Redfin, it’s $1,149,000. That’s a lot of cappuccinos!

A warm thank you to all of you hipsters who helped triple the value of my real estate…

Oh, and please let me know where you’re moving next.

  4. Mark says:

    @David
To Portland, where rent is rising 10% each year. Still massively cheaper than SF, but since the word got out about it people are pounding it, and it too will have an affordability crisis like the entire West Coast has. Luckily for them its basically just a suburb style city with a small downtown and a few industrial centers, so they should be able to keep enough housing by merely building 3-4 story buildings for the foreseeable future.

As for SF, I’d say probably Portola, though not many people are wise to that yet.

That was the right answer about four years ago. The answer now is FresNO! (No, not really, but hey, they could use investment and well, we got enough people here).

      • TinyTim says:

Google buses to Fresno (and Bakersfield)! That should cure things. 4 hrs. plus to work, one-way each day will make workers think about living in the suburb of Visalia, instead of the suburb of San Francisco!
Anyway, yes, let’s spread the wealth around.

Ahh the joy of not living in SF anymore and looking at this — the rest of the country is licking their chops waiting for the Schadenfreude.

    • Stew says:

SF continuously cycles up and down – so you’ll eventually get your brief schadenfreude moment. Unfortunately for you, you’ll still be the same loser.

The person that ends up buying the condo, will have had no issue with walkto4barrell.com yuckiness.

Of course they will never admit to themselves or others, that on a subconscious level it helped them perceive the inflated value of the condo as worth it.

This is really what we are all up against.

What if I want to grind my own Rainbow Grocery-bought beans ($12.50/lb), drip into my own cup and enjoy a quick, delicious brew, actually performed by MYSELF (with my own initiative, by hand with my own sweat on the brow)? Do I get a discount on the purchase price?

Gotta hand it to the agent, it’s getting visibility ;)

  15. OJ_Jurer says:

Went to Philz Mission location last Sunday at 9:30am and the line was out the door. On a Sunday! ?

And of course it was a fucking laptop/smartphone farm, instead of people actually engaging.

Congratulations you have all now officially ruined Philz original location, even though the other 15 locations were specifically opened to take your disposable income.

    • one says:

So what? Philz coffee is bitter and nasty. People waiting 5 minutes to pay $5 for the privilege of drinking swill are suckers.

Only $1.1M for a one bedroom. Good starter pad (not)!!!!!
