I moved to 23rd and Guerrero in ’94, had a lot of free time and little money, and loved nothing more than the interesting sites to be seen by walking up the hill to Twin Peaks. That was one of them.

My old foot route from party to home in the early ’80s was Diamond Heights to The Castro (pizza stop!) to The Haight. Lotsa obscure staircases along the way. First glow of daylight would be on the hills when the heads hit the mattress. Good times.
