Bad Blood with Joshua Cobos: Denver Knows What’s Up

Every now and then, pro photographer Joshua Cobos shoots a roll of film just for us, picks his 13 favorites, and we publish them here and it’s called “Bad Blood.” Here’s what Joshua has to say about this week’s spread:

Went to Denver at the beginning of July. Ended up celebrating my birthday in the best possible way. That state know’s what’s up. Spent some time at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery with Katie Conry. I’ll be shooting in San Francisco August 15th through the 20th. See you then!

Thanks, Joshua! Be sure to follow him on Instagram and on Twitter. Ten more shots after the jump:

Joshua: Even the scenes of Emerald City in the Wizard of Oz weren’t this green. Stop playing with the temperature setting on your camera and at least leave it on neutral.
It’s so green that she looks like she soiled herself in the next to last photo.

Seriously. This piss colored tint thing hasn’t been cool since five minutes in 1999 when we discovered toy cameras.

I’m curious, what do you like about the automatic Polaroid (looks like a 250?). I’ve never had much luck getting consistently good pictures out of the 250/350. I ended up giving mine away and getting a 180, which is manual and so gives you so much more variability and control over your photos.

Plus, as a bonus, it doesn’t need batteries, which is always nice.
