Yes, that was a jaywalker not paying attention, and he was in the bike lane. Then he got doored, in the bike lane. The biker was not at fault for anything that happened, or almost didn’t happen.

hence taxis should block the bike lane when dropping passengers (making sure to do a safe merge)
