Aside from SRO tenants coming down for a smoke I don’t follow how they would impact Monk’s very much, especially when you consider how well Monk’s has already don.

Yes, a few hundred feet away, there’s outside seating, but very specifically, the corner of 16th and Albion, is *that* ready for outdoor seating? Obviously, Monk’s Kettle thinks so, and maybe it is. I still see that very specific corner as doing a good job holding out against the “sprucing up” of the greater block, perhaps related to the SRO directly above Monk’s.
