It is interesting how desperate this guy is to prove his moral superiority. The techies work hard and produce stuff that society finds valuable (or otherwise there wouldn’t be any money in it). But rather than acknowledging that contribution, this guy has to disparage them as greedy, “winner take all types” etc. etc.
Sure I can understand why people are concerned about the changes to the neighborhood but the degree of jealously, moral preening, and just close-mindedness that infects these conversation is pretty remarkable.
I wonder what this guy has ever done for the neighborhood or our society.
