You have no idea what you’re talking about. The Nieto shooting was a bad shooting. The fact that the killers have not been fired and prosecuted is an egregious miscarriage of justice.

We know witnesses called police to report a person behaving “erratically” with a “gun”. That isn’t in question. We know the taser was not in its holster, and that it was discharged.

After the fact, we know he had a history of mental illness, including attacking a friend of his. We know he had marijuana in his system at the time (but it’s unclear if he was actually under the influence of it).

There’s no huge leap to believe the official version of events based on facts that are indisputable. It’s unfortunate, but I can easily believe the cops thought he had a gun and was about to shoot.
