And not for the better. I used to go multiple times a week with my membership. Now I go maybe once a month.

The screening schedule used by the Austin Drafthouse theater(s) is pretty diverse. I think / hope this place opening will spark some more interesting scheduling at the Roxie. Though, I know they need to play to their audience and, these days, it’s definitely not dudes looking to drop a few bucks for a legit midnight movie.

I’m actually looking for a place to screen a Dead Moon documentary and was completely ignored by my multiple emails to different staff at the Roxie. Mike Keegan was always quick to respond so I’m hoping for good things to come at the Drafthouse.
