She was adamant that we needed a pet and I felt our SF apartment was too small for a dog. Cats it was. Did some reading and found that cats were actually much more social than the skiddish little creatures I remembered from my neighbors when I was little. Instead of one cat we got two. They’re awesome. Seven years later and I can’t imagine not having the kitties around. I was always a dog person but honestly, cats are awesome.
