While great spots like Machine Coffee, Sightglass, De la Paz, and Ma’velous ensure that the west side of SOMA is happily caffeinated at work, it is difficult to find a decent cup if you work further east toward the bay. This week the meet-up gallery 111 Minna has improved the situation with the launch of “Red Door Coffee.” The shop is offering espresso drinks of a mission favorite, Fourbarrel. Hours: 7:30am–3pm. Lots of seating.

It’s Friday and one coffee is not enough to keep you going until Tripps. We suggest you also stop by Special Xtra for a second cup on the way back to work.
