<p>A new culinary endeavor seems to be emerging just down the street between Valencia and Mission, right near the panaderia and that friendly cafe with the bagel special and the tasty OJ.  It offers free delivery, but of what?  Thai food?  <a href="http://www.fadedfools.com/medical_marijuana/mr_nice_guy2august.jpg" target="_self">Medical supplies</a>?  Further investigation is definitely in order.  Mustering the myriad skills picked up from an upbringing by <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=leybGZjiqoE" target="_self">Columbo</a>, I bravely venture forth and discover:</p>
<p><a href="http://www.missionmission.org/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/pizza-man.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-11713" title="pizza man" src="http://www.missionmission.org/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/pizza-man.jpg" alt="" width="100%" height="auto" /></a></p>
<p>Super Mario Pizza Wii?</p>
<p><span id="more-11711"></span></p>
<p>Regaining my composure, I learn that yet another establishment will be joining the <a href="/2010/02/10/farina-taking-over-18th-and-valencia-opening-pizzeria/" target="_self">ongoing pizza war</a> that is <a href="/2010/02/24/farinas-new-venture-to-include-mini-italian-grocery-store/" target="_self">currently being waged</a> in the Mission.  However, Andy (not Mario, sadly, but a nice name nonetheless) here informs me that his Napoletana pizza will be &#8220;better and cheaper than <a href="http://www.amicis.com/" target="_self">Amici&#8217;s</a>,&#8221; which seems like a realistic goal.</p>
<p>Regarding the expected price point, Andy laments &#8220;Everything is expensive these days,&#8221; but he promises &#8220;good value.&#8221;  When asked if he could guarantee <a href="/2010/01/20/giant-value-displaced-letters/" target="_self">GIANT VALUE</a>, his eyes narrowed and he swept me out of his shop with his <a href="http://www.mariowiki.com/images/thumb/c/c0/RaccoonMarioFly.jpg/600px-RaccoonMarioFly.jpg" target="_self">raccoon tail</a>.  I didn&#8217;t get a chance to ask about ingredient sourcing or vegan options, but if I can get something like <a href="/2010/01/23/behind-the-scenes-at-arinell/" target="_self">Arinell</a> without having to walk eight (8) blocks; or <a href="http://www.serranospizza.com/" target="_self">three (3) blocks</a>; or <a href="http://www.escapefromnewyorkpizza.com/22nd.html" target="_self">two (2) blocks</a>; or, ummm, <a href="/2009/09/30/pi-bar-menu-lacks-pi-puns/" target="_self">one (1) block</a>; then I&#8217;ll take it!</p>
<p>Oh, and Andy?  <a href="http://www.columbo-site.freeuk.com/quotes.htm" target="_self">Just one more thing </a>. . .</p>
<p><a href="http://www.missionmission.org/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/columbo-11.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-11741" title="columbo-11" src="http://www.missionmission.org/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/columbo-11.jpg" alt="" width="255" height="343" /></a></p>
