Woman Kidnapped, Robbed at 19th and SVN

Bender’s just got a little more sketch.  From CBS 5:

The victim, who is not a San Francisco resident, had pulled over near 19th Street and South Van Ness Avenue shortly after 4:30 a.m. Thursday to adjust something in the trunk of her car, San Francisco police Sgt. Lyn Tomioka said.

A pickup truck pulled up next to her and a man inside forced her into the cabin of his vehicle, Tomioka said. He drove her around for a few minutes before taking her purse, stopping the truck and forcing her to get out [about a mile away from the kidnapping].

Anyone who lives in the neighborhood knows who the asses are. They are really obvious. Asses of all flavors. But what you end up doing is that New Yrok thing of looking down and scurrying along.

Who the fuck gets out of their car at 4:30 in the morning to “adjust something in the trunk”?

That’s exactly what I was wondering. There MAY BE more to this story.

also, why no mention of the make/model of the truck, description/sketch of the driver, and how the hell does a DRIVER of a pickup force someone inside without a gun (which I am assuming he didn’t have because there was no mention). I can tell you 100%, from trying to stuff small unwilling humans into a carseat, getting someone into a car, and KEEPING THEM THERE is pretty tricky.

      ps where is ANY followup?
